Good Taste Travel & Event Management is a dynamic inbound tour operation based in Cape Town, South Africa. From this spectacular location, Good Taste services the length and breadth of South Africa, its neighboring countries of Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland and Lesotho, the Indian Ocean island destinations of Madagascar, Mauritius, Reunion and the Seychelles and luxury gorilla-tracking safaris in Rwanda.
Founding member Jeanne Collard has always been passionate about travel, the African continent and its people, and having enjoyed working in various facets of the inbound travel industry, started Good Taste Travel & Event Management in 2004. Since then, Jeanne has delighted in combining her 3 passions in a multitude of ways and has seen the company go from strength to strength.
Through the success of Good Taste Travel & Event Management, Jeanne has been able to financially support various tourism and charity initiatives, a firm favourite being the Tourism Community Development Trust, which plays a leading role in facilitating local community involvement in the positive growth that the South African tourism sector can provide at a grassroots level. Good Taste Travel & Event Management is proud to have achieved Gold status as a Friend of the trust.
Jeanne personally designs each bespoke itinerary, focusing on first establishing each client’s needs, desires and budget, and prides herself on matching the perfect service providers to the client – both in her choice of hand-selected tourist guides as well as in the accommodations, which range from luxury boutique hotels and guest houses, to hotels and resorts, and safari lodges of every description.
In the office, Jeanne is assisted by Robyn Eiserman, whilst on the ground she has formed exclusive relationships with South Africa’s top ‘tried-and-tested’ tourist guides, all of whom are certified and hold passenger liability insurance of minimum 10 million Rands per passenger per incident.
Whilst under the care of Good Taste Travel & Event Management, clients enjoy the best-of-the-best, from the quality of the drivers and guides, to the state-of-the-art luxury vehicles and preferential treatment at accommodations. We also provide a concierge service to our clients, advising on and securing reservations at the country’s top restaurants, as well as stadium and theatre tickets and any other assistance that may be required.
